Physisco Ltd exists to bring circularity and evidence into how buildings are planned, funded and assessed — the strategic layer underneath construction, delivered before the first brick is laid.
Founder and Principal Consultant at Physisco Ltd. Dr. Savva holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Cyprus and has spent over a decade at the intersection of construction materials research and industrial production — currently QA/QC and Research Manager at a concrete and aggregates producer, alongside co-founding ventures spanning research consulting, construction and software.
His research turns recycled and waste materials — crushed concrete, quarry mud, waste glass, ceramic tiles — into viable building products: recycled aggregate concrete, geopolymers, and fire-resistant, thermal-insulating composites made from construction and demolition waste.
Primary Investigator on three nationally-funded research projects (Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation) and partner on three further projects funded by the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation, including a €1.1M programme on fire-resistant insulation from construction and demolition waste.
QA/QC and Research Manager at a mid-sized concrete and aggregates producer since 2017 — mix design, on-site inspection, and production-scale quality control.
PhD in Civil Engineering (internally-cured concrete), with research spanning recycled aggregates, geopolymers, structural health sensors and fire-resistant materials.
Co-founder and shareholder across research, construction and software ventures — the operating experience behind Physisco's own founding.
The name draws on the Greek physis — nature, the underlying order of things — and on a background in physics-adjacent materials research. It's carried into the mark itself: an open φ built like a section drawing, stem and ring, structure and circulation.
